As the water from the resevoir gushes down it enters a long winding pipe crashing against the walls of the pipe as it nears the generator it pases a large valve controlled by a wheel that needs to be spun 220 tmes to shut it off then when the raging water reaches its destination ,the genorator, it spins the paddles that are attached to a motor at very fast speeds wich makes a magnet spin past a coil wich generates energy as the water looses momentum it falls into a large pool wich then leads into the river.
